I am not an expert but for $7 more, you'll get a wifi 6.

    • And Bluetooth 5.0

I am curious - is there much point if you're only connecting to your NBN router? What is the use-case?

My connection seems stable at 90 Mbps down over my USB wifi dongle through a few (not-brick) walls…

      No difference if nbn 50/100mbps.
Big difference if nbn 1g or streaming content via wifi.
Eg streaming 4k games to your tv but better with wifi6.

ASUS networking equipment is supposed to be part of the Amazon Prime Day sales, so those interested might want to wait a few days and see what's on offer.

  • how is this compare with this

    • This one looks like the one I posted from CPL. I didn't buy from amazon but, if its the same, It has no box, or instructions. Just the items on static resistant plastic. Working well with a wifi 5 router as I am getting 300Mbps via ookla speed test. And it also has bluetooth.

      • what is wifi 5 router? is Ac1600 and N300 wifi 5?

this is so old its not funny.

    and no bluetooth

  • Looks alright and chorus free up a USB port but would be a waste if the old device (I'm still using a TP-Link Archer T2U Nano AC600 Nano Wireless USB Adapter, send fine with NBN 50)..

Chromecasting some video content from vlc seems a laggy but could be the nature of it?

  • Just ordered this during 1hr extra cashback from shopback (not holding my breath).
Now regretting and feeling instead should've ordered the Asus AX3000 one linked above by @twizzo and @RichardF89
Will this (the Asus AX3000) work with a Asus AC1900 modem/router?
