I have the 2024 version and that doesn't disconnect. Once it connects, it stays connected and AA is operational no matter what.

music didnt sound as good as plugged in and microphone quality diminished - admittedly on the 2024 version but that was a deal breaker for me
same here, call quality was so bad I had to use the phone handsfree to make calls. I ended up returning the unit 2024 version also

PS :
When playing a YouTube video, the audio and video are not syncing properly. However, the audio-only playback works perfectly, and there are no issues with phone calls.
It also takes some time to connect when starting the vehicle, but aside from that, it works great.

I have the aawireless and the carlinkit.. Aawireless is definitely feels more refined and have had no issues with connectivity or lag
