I bought 1L at $18 because I thought that was pretty cheap (compared to 300mL bottles). The I bought another litre when it dropped to $15. If I see any at $2, well I won't be able to help myself!
Look out for the Mcenzies Black Pepper and Salt. Absolute steal at $8 or $9 but they will eventually drop it it to $4.50 and they will be gone in a heart beat

Coles Port Adelaide Plaza SA had these a couple of weeks ago, there were lots so probably still available.

Iāll be honest that if I saw $2 for 1L maple syrup at my local store, the shelf would be emptied into my trolley and Iād check the shelf on hands and knees to make sure none were hidden at the back.

Those prices would be store specific unfortunately and I believe most stores would be out of stock for those items as they were cleared a few weeks ago as part of the bulk buys specials.
