If you have an Amex card (Gold Ascent and Qantas are no annual fee cards), they will waive the membership fees so you only have to pay for shipping. Free package consolidation is included as well.
I signed up with them with my Platinum Amex card for free membership and 30% off their shipping rates.
So far I've had 2 large shipments (each with 4-5 different orders) and no hassles.
Their website is easy to use and you control when the shipment gets sent to you. My last shipment had a few pairs of children's shoes in it and they removed the boxes to reduce the shipping weight.
Shipping via DHL is trackable and very quick (3 business days to Melbourne).

I was with shipito aswell, which is expired now. Great service but in regards to spacenoodles comment.
didn't you have to buy a monthly/yearly pass in order to use the consolidation services? otherwise they charged huge amounts per consolidation correct?
Use this for free yearly access and free setup. It doesnt cost anything except postage (which is probably more expensive than shipto, but for causal usage, will be ok).
I got overcharged by them. They misquoted dimensions and used an oversized box that was uneccesary. I have not received a reply or resolution to my enquiry into this.
They do this to claw back the Amex "discounts". Without Amex discounts, they are ridiculously expensive.
Maybe you should also bring this up with AMEX.
is shipito is the better way to go then?
even with the amex annual fee being waived, the rates they charge you to ship it out to you is fairly high?
ive used shipito and they have a charge approx $8.50 USD to ship it out to you (higher depending on the weight) plus the shipping costs which is quite reasonable.
I'm guessing this won't stack with the Amex 30% off deal? :-P

I've used Shipito and they were very good, but a little pricey.
EDIT: Hmm it looks like they're pricing structure is very different to Shipito, they don't do package consolidation without a monthly membership, so I might pass.
