    Great prices - thanks OP

  • Got the dimensions from Kogan, couldn't find it on other websites.

    Dimensions Approx.: 44.5 × 57.2 × 36.6 cm (WxDxH)
    Weight Approx.: 11.5 kg

It seems really big, could this be the box dimensions? Is anyone who owns this able to confirm?

    • from the website
LARGE CAPACITY - 17L of cooking space - enough for a 2kg chicken.

This oven gets rusting very easily.

    • Over what time period?

    • Yes, especially the rack. They should use a better quality material, other than that it is very convemient.

      • This has not been my experience at all. I’ve had it for a year and use it for most of my cooking. No rusting whatsoever.

    • +5

I own this over 2 years, not rusting yet
I mainly used it for toasting bread, baking pastry, and super steam vegetable (eg. Broccoli or cauliflower)

Just be reminded that everytime after using the steam / super steam function
remember to clean the waste water tray at the bottom of the oven

      • like a trooper…. clean after every use

    • Bright side, if you are iron deficient then the rusting might be good for your health! Free iron suppliments

  • I have this and love it to bits. Has a premium feel and is perfect for a small household. The combination bake +steam or grill+steam make it unique. And yes, I’ve cooked a whole chicken in it with very good results. Read the manual and the recipe book for great tips. Using it like a traditional oven will not do it justice.

  • Best oven ever…. The steam bake combo in that compact size is so convenient. Easy to warm up, cook, clean and store.

  • What type of combo cooking do ppl do in this? It seems unnecessary for just steaming vegetables which is why is ask. Also I remember someone telling me long ago that baked goods like cakes and bread come out better if there's steam involved but wanting to know if anyone can verify?

    • +2

      For me…
The oven is instant heat which is really handy for toasting bread / reheating pizza etc.

      In regards to cooking combo
Grill Steam is one of the Big+ of this oven
eg. Chicken are first cooked by steam, then Grill in high heat to Grill/ Roast the surface
this brings a juicy and soft inside while crispy skins

  • CSO - El Cucuy

  • Anyone bake bread in this using steam without a dutch oven?

  • The Ninja Foodi OP300 for $269 is also a decent deal.

It does a similar thing to this, for instance it can pressure cook a whole chicken to seal in the juices and then airfry to get a crispy finish.

    • +1

Have to agree, I really love the OP300.
Most meals start with 2 minutes of pressure cooking then 10 minutes of air crisp cooking.
In under 15 minutes you have meals that should take an hour to cook with minimal washing up.

Thank you to the original poster, I purchased the KitchenAid food processor it is about 65% cheaper than its RRP.

  • How does this stack up to the Breville smart oven?

    • As someone with a Breville smart oven( which I love), I suspect this one has more options with the steam option. One issue is its 17L vs 22l with the Breville
