  • I have a 4 year old POE Annke system. Would this work with that.

    • May I have the NVR model number? I may help if I can know the model number.

  • I need to replace a broken camera on a Uniden NVR 8 PoE IP camera setup. Uniden cameras apparently use protocol I8S which seems to be used by many cheap Chinese brands- https://ipvm.com/forums/video-surveillance/topics/ip-camera-…. Anyone one know if this Annke would be detected by the NVR.

  • I bought this camera a few weeks ago on a deal and its good but with one caveat . The LED comes on in low light and is on constantly . Not ideal for indoors when your watching TV and it constantly flicks on and off due to changing light levels from the TV . I would rather the non visible light type and live with black and white . Also it is only a 2.8mm lens which is something to keep in mind .
The video quality is actually quite good compared to my hickvision that cost almost twice as much . It seems just as well built .

Edit: I purchased a matching Annke NVR which is junk compared to the hikvision unit I got for my mothers house . It was half the price but no where near as featured or intuitive .

    • The LED comes on in low light and is on constantly

You can turn the light off in the settings….

      • I 'll take a look but what would be the point , It rellies on the LED to see in the dark .

        • The sensor needs extremely low level of light…so you may find there's enough anyway.

    • i put it outdoor and it worked great. Also the light can be turned off.

I think this camera is not suitable for indoors and you will be better off getting the cheapie imou LOOC or bullet of the other deal which works really well indoors in black/white.
