Was the RRP $3,729 reasonable to start with?

    • I swear laptops only get more expensive

    • I suppose that's why people only buy Lenovo's at discounted prices and never at rrp

    Quad core with a Quadro.
So strange, It's like they want a multi-tasking processing CAD/Video powerhouse and then they've hamstrung it with the processor.

    • Not very versed technically - do you mean because of the GPU that the i7 processor will never be fully utilised?

Not enough CPU cores, Intel is facing stiff competition from AMD whose processors consume less power yet have more cores.

They're falling behind in terms of power efficiency (in layman's terms, how much work they produce in relation to the amount of power they require). https://static.techspot.com/articles-info/2158/bench/8-o.png

It's odd, I was looking at possibly a P14s for one of our employees, but you couldn't get the Ryzen with a Quadro GPU.

Hopefully, this changes for the P14s AMD Gen2, if there is one.

      • Coming soon. Finally with 4K 500nit display.

    • The T500 isn't exactly a powerhouse. It's basically one step above some integrated gfx options with a quaddro sticker.

  • Would prefer AMD version from education portal for less.
