I have this app and I much prefer Liven. You currently earn "bitcoin" credit and the price indicated is only as an "estimate"
I always check before and after making a purchase, and my "bitcoin" deducts for example, $20 for a $15 purchase. Over 10 purchases to use up all my bitcoin, they 100% of the time take a lot more than their "indicative" bitcoin rate.

I've raised it to their support team and all they have to say is "it is already mentioned as indicative price"

As you all know, crypto is easy to be manipulated and with sosure, you know you won't get even the indicative rate, so I wouldn't recommend selling your details to them as the app sucks anyway.

Also the spin and win is pretty much useless, 2 cents most of the time, 5 cents when bitcoin is high, so when it drops, it is a lot less.

Liven on the other hand, has a lot more restaurants and the rewards system gives you exactly what you earn and you get to keep the value of what it is. They also have care packages which can give you 50% on special occasions.

Anyway, just my honest opinion for the community

    • I used so sure before 2020 but yeah my credits tanked after that…

    • Agree and only kept it since had some unihash stored up and the value increased, made sure I used all up before they changed to BTC. The "value" is fudged as it changes by the minute/second and like you said I find that you're always paying more than the actual price.

My preference is also Liven or EatClub.

    • Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience with the community, we’d like to apologise for the negative experience you had with us. We are constantly learning and improving our user experience, most importantly, the rewards program, that’s why we introduced online shopping rewards program on top of our in-store dining feature.

In terms of the rewards, we chose to switch to BTC from January 1st because of its nature and the opportunity of giving higher rewards for our users, with the extended 3-months period for users to redeem their Unihash credits :) The excitement of crypto rewards do give us a chance in bringing a more unique product offering into the current market!

Having said that, I’d like to thank you on my team’s behalf in sharing your feedback with us!

      • And it's funny that you say that as BTC is currently at 55k from 80k.

  • Stopped using this app ages ago when they accused me of fraud - apparently it was illegal to transfer funds between family members! They withheld the fund transfer from my mum's account to my account and we were forced to e-mail them to clarify the situation in order for the transfer to clear.
