Looks like it's in store only, not sure about other locations?

Bought myself a Tyre repair kit https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-8-piece-tyre-rep…

Oh no signed up. For $1 before.

    Time to have for accounts

    • Weird. I read this with no typos the first time, and then I read it again and realised how many typos were there lol

    • Need a new number for a new account, or no credits. Most people wont be able to do it.

      • Easy to do, Simply buy a new amaysim, $40 (now $15 recharge kit today, with standard cashback of $10.5 from Cashrewards today, and bonus today of $5, so you gain profit of 50 cents buying that). I didn't because i already have way too many sims, will simply use another phone number,

I also wonder what if people give random phone number in the store like 0412345678 or like a number that's not theirs but is a valid phone number, I mean there's no OTP requirement so i dont see any problem, UNLESS YOU GO TO THAT SAME SCA PRETTY OFTEN, that THE STAFF ALREADY KNOWS YOU AND KINDA HATES YOU THA TWONT BE SIGNING YOU UP AGAIN (AKA HE KNOWS YOU ARE ALREADY A CLUB MEMBER)

I changed to "most people wont be bothered to do it." then.

I had a stroke trying to read this

      • Did you hear the one about the 3 old ladies sitting on a bench in a park? A flasher walked past, opened his trench quote and gave them all an eyeful.

The first lady had a stroke, the second lady had a stroke, the third one wasn't quick enough.

They are really pumping these things out. The manager at my local store encouraged me yo open an account under my wife's name and baby son. They must make some sort of commission.

    • Wifes name sure… Babys name? Starting them out young I guess.

    • commission on $0 joining fee is…?
maybe there are incentives for stores to sign up as many people as they can so they can track what you buy (but what could a baby buy there lol).

A store manager just wants higher sign ups, they wouldn't care if those accounts are used or not.

Your wife will be pissed when she goes to open an account for the free $10 and is told she can't due to already having one.

They do send alot of emails.

But, it's convenient for keeping online receipts, easy exchanges and a fair few bargains quite regularly.

If you shop there alot, then it's worth it.

    • just unsubscribe.

it's worth it if you shop there… once

I will hand my ozb badge back in. :)

but if you unsub from their emails, you won't get the random $10 they sometimes send club plus members

    • Nice try, SCA rep.

      • Wonder whether I can print out this comment and get some kick baks.

    • Would suggest the tyre repair option that OP got. Unless you already have one, they're super handy to keep one in the car whether for yourself or any random person stuck on the side of the road. Well, that said they dont pump air so hopefully someone also has a tyre pump handy!
