Supercheap Auto Club Plus - Join for $1 and Get $10 Store Credit

1500

Get your Supercheap Auto membership for a $1 and get $10 store credit. You need an email address and a phone number to apply. $10 credit is added to your account after you activate your account via email. You don't need a membership card in-store, just give them your phone number/email at the checkout.

edit: Pay for your membership online with a Credit Card or Paypal or do it in-store with cash. From FAQ - $10 Loyalty credit from joining is valid for 56 days. Membership doesn't expire / no renew cost.

*Check their prices online first if you're going to a store. The one I went to had the normal price tag instead of the discounted price, but I was charged the discounted price at the checkout.

    • I got $10 3 weeks ago.

      I got none

    • $18 around 3 weeks ago

You need an email address and a phone number to apply.

You also need a Credit card or Paypal.

    • I will add this to the post and you can also sign up in-store with cash.

  • So we can get this oil for $22.49?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/620588

    • Yes. Don't think there's a limit on which item you can spend it on.

  • Note this promise "When you join today for $5 and activate your online account, you’ll receive $10 CREDIT straight away!" is not true in my experience and the order will take a few days to get processed.

  • How long does the membership last ? 1 year ?

  • Just in time, was running out of little trees…

  • Thanks. Bought it. Going to buy a pressure washer now

    • +1

Does SCA sell decent pressure washers?

      • Karcher k2 1750psi seems decent

        • Would you use this to wash newish cars? or are you thinking of buying it for something else like paving bricks?

          • +1

@bonezAU: I'll be using it to wash my new car.

            • +1

@N21212: Thanks, might grab one myself. The water pressure here is so bad, I gave up using a garden hose with my old car but getting a new car shortly.

              • @bonezAU: Pressure washers need decent hose pressure to work efficiently ime. If you don't have a good flow they'll work intermittently.

                • @[Deactivated]: The water pressure here meets standards, it's been tested by the local water authority. Toilets & showers flow just fine as designed, it's just not extremely good pressure like I have had at previous houses I've lived in.

I've also borrowed my old man's pressure washer once or twice and it has worked fine. It just seems that the garden hose by itself is lousy af.

Not sure if this is the same model, but it's $10 cheaper and says it's a "Plus". If it turns out to be the same model, we could get SCA to price match and then use the $9 off from the club discount on top

          • +1

@bonezAU: Looks like the same model. I'll ask SCA if they can price match tomorrow

            • +1

@N21212: Thanks, please let me know how it goes. I did call SCA today to ask for the model number, the guy went and got the box and still couldn't find it. I told him not to worry about it and I'd go in next week. He mentioned straight up that they could beat Bunnings price by $1 if it was the same model.

              • @bonezAU: I called SCA today and they confirmed that it's the same model as the Bunnings one, and they can beat the price by $1. This is awesome because I can now buy it for $72bux with vouchers+discount lol

                • +1

                  @N21212: Brilliant, thanks heaps!
Let me know if you have any spare vouchers :P

That means I can get it for $139 anyway.

                • +1

@N21212: The one SCA sells is a different model to Bunnings.

Bunnings is 1.602-220.0 and SCA is 1.602-231.0

They wouldn't honour the price match, so with the club discount I paid $149.99 for one today. I couldn't see the difference between the two models and the closest Bunnings was more than 99c worth of fuel and hassle away.

  • What are the benefits of a club member?

    • +20

      $9

  • When does the store credit expire?

    • -1

      28 days

    • 56days

    • From their FAQ page - $10 Loyalty credit for signing up is valid for 56 days. When you earn more credits in the future then it's 28 days.

      • Oh, my bad, cheers

  • Time to sign up with new emails, and phone number. Have two or three club membership accounts simply

    • +2

yeh my account which ive had for a long time now (7+ years) has stopped receiving promo material and bonus credits…
even emailed sca CS to sort it out but that never worked so time for a new account i reckon

      • +2

Ah, so not just me then? I'm not sure what threshold my account has crossed, but I don't get any of the bonus or promos that popup on OB for a long time now.

Also, anyone else getting random cars put in their garage. No, not the carport down the side of the house…the "My garage" feature where you can shop for items related to that car (useful for servicing). For example, there is a Toyota Landcruiser and a Kia Cerato that have decided to park in my garage. If I delete them, without fail another two cars will appear overnight. I mean, it's kind of interesting to see who'll visit, but at the same time, yet another bug in the website.

        • +1

yeah i had a mystery car pop up as well! what a sh*t site!

  • no credits after signing up for me

    • you need to activate your account from the email link first
      then you need to login
the credit should be displayed up in the top right corner as

      Loyalty Credit $10.00

I carry grudges a long time.

      how many years so far?

    • Contact customer service (not a local store). They put $15 on the account after my $10 expired.

  • Do you have to use the $10 in one go?

    • Yes

      • Thanks. Damn, i dont know what to use it on lol

        • Just get anything like brake cleaner, spray paint, degreeser, or like brushes, blind spot mirror, or

Any clearance item available in your nearby store

          • @USER DC: I ended up getting the decor cup for $9.99. Dont like it much, but for $1..

  • +2

unfortunately supercheap is not that cheap ;) almost all items are way overpriced

    • +1

I'm guessing that's why everyone else (like me) are here on ozbargain. I generally buy things on special / sale. The trick is to not need anything urgently, then just watch and wait.

    • Looks portable.

      • Ah good, that's always a good feature in a portable device.

  • Do they send you a card in the mail? Struggling to find a card/membership number on the site which I can scan/enter into Stocard.

    • +1

The email i got after sign up says they dont but you can request one in store

  • I did get any credit from last time. Did use same number as before. Guess that's why?

    • I did guess that

    • So we can’t make a duplicate account using the same phone number?

      • +1

you can also use landline numbers

  • do they still post out the membership cards?

    • apparently not although you can ask in store

  • great got $10 credit.

  • Does credit need to be used in single transaction?

    • yes

  • Registered. Thanks OP
