  • I just use Morning Fresh

    • You really shouldn't. Dishwashing detergent is bad for the paint work (strips polish and wax), same as why you shouldn't wash your car with dishwashing liquid, but use a proper car wash.

If when you spray your windscreen, some goes onto the paint, this will affect it.

It's an old car. I'd rather have a clean windscreen.

          Morning Fresh

Can you still clean you windscreen in the afternoon with it?

          • @MS Paint: Good point… Haven't tested that yet.

@jv: Have a go and report back. Genuinely interested.*

*I take no responsibility if it destroys your duco

    • Based on the MSDS, I think this is very similar to cloudy ammonia which is $1.40 for 1 litre at coles or woolies.

  • My personal experience is, It is a waste to have two bottles, One bottle itself does come for at least 5+ years. Don't trap yourself!!!

    • One is $5 but with nrma member it's 2 for $5

      • updated in Title as well

If you have NRMA/RAC*, your can get 1 bottle for $2.50. No need to get two bottles.

        • Oh I see. Oh well. Give one to someone else or other family.

Bugs on windscreens? Not in the last 20 years since we cleared all that bushland for houses.

My windscreen, headlights and front bumper would like a chat.

      • Yeah - but its not like it used to be.

  • I use this product and it cleans as it should. But if it splatters away from the wipe area, it leaves a strong white residue. I used the correct amount as directed, I even diluted it even more. I still have the issue of splashed white spots left behind.

I bought a bottle and it's lasted me 9 years
