Wow…kids nowadays get hot food from home served in vacume sealed jar?

When i was growing up, i would get a Vegemite sandwich and a home brand muesli bar.

Well we got peanut butter + Nutella sandwiches back in the old days. Try doing that in a school today, it would be treated as bad bring a weapon to school.

      • My kid can’t bring nuts, eggs, seafood, kiwi fruit

Luxury! When I was growing up, I got a lump of coal and had to decide whether to eat it or burn it for heat.

          Luxury!
When I was growing up we'd have to rise early to work morning shift down the coal mine for that lump of coal.

My parents taught me the self discipline way. Either make my own lunch to school or go to school hungry until I get home in the afternoon.

Any good for storing a herb collection?

    • +1

      Don't see why not

Would it seal in the aroma of strong smelling dried herbs, like rosemary for example? Enough to stop a rosemary sniffer dog?

        • Add your lump of coal for good measure.
At the very least if the coal doesn't deter said sniffer dog one could always throw it and call fetch. 🪨 🐕
