    • Link is too long,I had fixed, thank you.

  • Does this also come in black?

    • Laser Projector only white version

  • Location Perth. "No available shipping method" when try to place the order for the projector screen

    • Chose AU warehouse

      • I can confirm that I did choose 'AU Direct' and 'AU express shipping'. Still seeing the error during checkout process

        • Give me your address and I will check the logistics

  • Been looking at the Fengmi but not too many reviews around. Also looking at this one for not much more. Any first hand experiences, recommendations or opinions greatly appreciated.

I have not own any projector yet but looking into buying one soon to replace my old TV. I don't know this projector but the listing is for the first generation projector. There is a second generation (pro version) of this projector. Based on my research, I have decided to get a VAVA 4K UHD Laser projector.

      • Vava a bit too exxy for me, unless you've found an awesome deal, it's about double the price of this Fengmi.

        • Check Vincent's reviews on YouTube (HDTV test). He goes into a lot of detail, particularly about the coil whine.

      • Be careful to use projector to replace your regular TV, they are not very good with light on.

  • Hi op - can you help me understand import taxes.

Although the item states 'GST included', is the import tax into Australia included/paid by Banggood?

Surely the item needs to be declared with a value, being over $1k AUD it would attract GST and also customer clearance fees on receipt by the buyer.

Also any reason by this Chinese model is AU local stock:
    https://www.banggood.com/Xiaomi-Mi-MIJIA-Laser-Projector-500…

And not the global version, which is only in HK stock?
    https://www.banggood.com/Global-Version-Xiaomi-Mijia-Ultra-S…

Ideally being in AU, I would assume Banggood would stock global models locally in AU, not Chinese models (even like the one you have posted here seems to be a Chinese version).

This produces a very good picture, I have seen it on an ALR screen in a bright room, way better than traditional projectors as long as the ALR screen is there. Having said that, it also makes a high pitched noise , there is no warranty, for a 150 inch screen it needs 50- 55 inches of distance from the screen and most tables are not that wide also there is no vertical adjustment so it has to be at an exact height to project the picture where you need it, ALR screens are pretty expensive. No projector will be able to match an LED TV with ambient light or an OLED even in a dark room. I was really interested but a 120 inch ALR screen costs 1600 delivered to Perth from XY screens last I checked so I got an epson 4k projector refurbished from the epson site, a 130 inch screen from flea bay and a 7.1.2 atmos set up from marketplace, speakers are 20 year old and were a about the 8000 mark new receiver is atmos capable and 2 years old. All up 2700 bucks ..could not be happier with my 130 inch set up. Again, when I was looking this projector was 2700 bucks delivered, it is a bargain now at this price for the right person.

So to sum it up if you are looking at a 100 inch screen and do not have a dedicated theatre room, are willing to spend the 2500 odd without warranty this is a great deal though personally I would buy an 85 inch tv. If you are looking for size think 120 inch plus and have a dark room then a traditional 4k or faux 4k projector offers way better value.

    • Yeah I will get a 85" TV over 100" projector or have both. Use projector when you want to play movie like in cinema and TV for regular use.

Yes that is the right way to do it..best of both worlds. But I have a 75 inch telly and my projector, never watch the telly..Once you experience that size mind you with proper audio in a small room as opposed to the casino or a movie hall .. tellys seem useless as do movie halls unless it is a new movie not out in HDR which has not happened in the last year. Even HD TV is more immersive…IMHO till TVs come out in 120 inch plus…. projectors rock…I am thinking 4 more years for the projectors in home entertainment .. though whatever size the screen goes without proper audio it is pointless

  • I have previous model Xiaomi 5000 lumens Full HD laser projector. I love it apart from a design fault that causes pixel like dots to appear over time.

The fix has been identified at this link but I can't get anyone to produce in my country.

    https://www.projectorjunkies.com/xiaomi-4k-laser-ust-project…

Unless someone can confirm this design fault has been fixed by the manufacturer I would not buy this product. When I first got the machine it had no white dots on the screen caused by this plate warping over time and it worked perfectly I was so happy. Within two months I had 3 white dots that indicated mirrors that no longer project correctly. Now 3 years later my machine has more than 30 of these. I was willing to pay for this to be fixed in country however Xiaomi authorised repairer in Melbourne said they would not do this as was purchased from China so I am stuck with a sub optimal machine / projector experience.

I still really enjoy it and use it as my main TV but am hesitant to upgrade to the new ones until I can confirm this design fault has been fixed permanently. Hopefully the manufacturers have read that link and improved the part that causes this problem.

I hope this informs some others who may consider this machine and it's latest models.

  • Hey rep, order placed for the Fengmi 4k laser projector May 1st. Tracking number provided still not in system using 17track.net. Is this normal? Which delivery service do you use for shipping from HK?

There has been no updates since "Package has been sterilized and shipped out." which occurred on May 3rd.

  • Is it possible to hang the screen with hooks?

    • Need more details to know exactly what you mean by hang with hooks….

      • I mean the projector screen to hang it up with right/left hooks? I saw some with two rings to allow on hooks.

  • Is the deal still acitve? I see the price increase. I would like to order from Au website

  • @banggood is the deal still active? Can’t seem to redeem. Please assist
