    US$20.31 (~A$33.09) with this URL

      Thank you very much.

I checked and found that your link is cheaper!

      • It's the same link as your original except with a code in the URL to make it have a "Limited Deals" price.

  • +1

Does it ship with shit Fast horse or auspost?

    • +1

      horse

      That would be next year.

    • Depends on where you live. No fast horse for me so it's Auspost.

      • You are very fortunate

    • Yeah, i used to love an aliexpress deal, but since Fast Horse it just isn't worth the hassle.

  • +4

Selling only $15 in China delivered, why everything is so expensive in Australia.

      Gerry

      • +1

10% added for GST for goods under $1000 organised by Gerry and his LNP mates. Boycott Harvey Norman forever. It's only fair.

      • Without wanting to defend Gerry… something manufactured in China doesn’t need to be shipped 7500 km’s over sea.

I’m not sure, but it seems to me like a massive overkill for a precision screwdriver to be battery powered. Plus it’s probably safer to do it by a hand, so screws aren’t overtightened.

    • Yes exactly. And for flat pack furniture assembly this would be terrible. Better off with a bigger electric screwdriver with a L bend for grip or a standard drill or impact driver.

    • +3

The torque isnt much to overtight the screws on these type of screwdrivers

    • so screws aren’t overtightened.
probably not going to happen, as they are weak anyway. if you pick or use the correct bit, it actually help alot. make the job fast

    • +2

For torque, there should be two settings, low and high. From the listing: Max. Torque is 0.2N.m.
      Description says 2 Gear Torque.

You'll be right mate. I used this for pc building and taking about toys, and small electronics.

    • +3

It's helpful if you are taking apart a decent number of laptops and computer equipment etc.
The torque isn't strong enough in my experience to overtighten or strip any screws. There have been a number of times where I have to manually turn because the torque is too weak.

    • I mean, in my experience I've never come across a precision sized screw that took more than about 5 seconds by hand, so I guess you could cut your screw time in half and save about 2.5 seconds. Provided you don't forget to recharge the screwdriver.

    • +1

These battery screw drivers don't have the power to over tighten. I got a few. Still need to go manual if you really want it tight

  • You could probably use this a normal precision screwdriver like if u don’t turn it on right?

    • Yes. Just leave it in the neutral/middle position.

duh i have wowstick (powered by AAA) already if not i will get this …

  • Wasnt this on sale for $15 like a week or so ago?

    • That was the non-electric version

      • Ah right!

  • Just an amateur question, do people find the electric version to be more useful than the non electronic version? I'm in the market to buy a precision set but not sure to buy the electric version or not.

    • +1

Nice to have but not required. Best for many small screws in electronics.

    • +3

Not really, unless youre working with small parts all the time.

I broke the electronic gears the first time I used it because of a particularly tough screw that I tried to undo. The manual set worked fine.

  • Now I feel like a sucker paying full-price for this back in December as a gift. Now I've bought this discounted one for myself. Thanks OP

  • Coming up at $36.xx

    • Just checked
      Choose AUD AU$36.39
      Choose US US$21.72

  • Can find the same one directly from China on eBay for $26.10 (free shipping). Follow this Link

    • 3 feedback seller? I'd be cautious personally.

      • Forgot to check that. Good call

  • Not very powerful, have one and it requires a lot of manual turning still.

  • Best feature: Included long shank bits

Con: Nonmagnetised chuck, unlike the manual version

  • Make sure, you charge it often. My one is dead.

  • Anyone know if it's possible to get just the screwdriver only somewhere, or recommendations for another electric screwdriver handle only? Really trying to avoid getting all those excess bits that kits like to throw in these days
