  • Interesting it has a QHD screen. I think a FHD with higher refresh rate would made more sense for a 14" screen

    • That is an option. This model comes with a 144hz? 1080 panel too.

      • +1

The other model comes with a FHD 120Hz panel. I think the it has a fairly high latency though in terms of pixel response time.

  • Yeah, that's a real bummer. QHD is total nonsense on 14", 1080p is already pretty hard to read with normal DPI

    • I used Dell XPS 13 9360.. the 4K panel seemed to be pretty good.
Isn't it the same case here?

      • I’m with you there, use a QHD Lenovo for work at 14” and it’s a necessity for most professional uses these days for the quality when you really need to see bigger amounts of information in power apps.

    • +1

Hard disagree, I think it's a great compromise even on Windows.

      • +2

Guess it depends on use case? Since this is usually gonna be bought with a lean on gaming a 144hz display at 1080p would be preferable for the majority.
Not saying there aren't use cases for QHD, it's just not gonna be the most in demand option on this machine
There are some people that won't settle for less than QHD on a 6" phone :)

        • +1

Yeah fair enough, just saying that I really enjoyed QHD on a 13 incher.

  • Given the previous Amazon deal had a 2060, but similar in other ways, Fhd 240hz screen is this a better deal for the same price?

    • 1660ti max q vs 2060 max q… From what I read the former performs slightly better but the rtx 2060 has benefit of running dlss in future games

  • Why waste this by putting a QHD screen on it..

  • +1

yay its dropping, cheapest was $1709 a week ago.

I've got the big brother of this one (2060) and it's performance as a laptop is unreal for its size. I travel a lot for work so need something light, but when Im home I plug it in to 2 monitors and game… It has no trouble with most normal games at full graphics heat / sound / performance wise… I would and have recommended it to friends

    • Can't wait to get my hands on it..

    • how much did you pay for it?
