      • Hi, if you don't use it, can I possibly buy 100$ gift card from you for $70 and you get the cashback ?

        • +1

That sounds like a bad deal

        • I hv a $50 JB Hifi card for $45 😀

Still not a good enough reason to buy from kogan

Just checked, nothing in my commbank rewards

      • +3

From experience, they retarget people who previously activated an offer and didn’t use it. Kogan offer was previously offered to all users. I guess now they are targeting those who didn’t use it.

  • Does it work with marketplace?

    • Shop online on the Kogan website

Is part of the conditions so maybe

    • Yes, as long as it’s on kogan.com

      • Noice. Have this option at my app

  • $20 off $100 from Myer :(

    • +10

It's actually a good one, you can buy a $100 Coles Group & Myer Gift Card from Myer and get $20 cashback

      • In-store only. Is that worth buying a $100 Myer Gift Card online for $20 cashback?

        • +5

Not a Myer gift card.. a Coles Group & Myer Gift Card which can be used at many places

Coles Supermarkets, Coles Central, Coles Express, Myer, Target, Kmart, Officeworks, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor.

          • @brandogs: Yeah I think it's only available in the Myer store. Unfortunately there's no Myer store near me

            • @ozvince: Same here, I have checked the myer gift card section, guess the only option to get that Coles Group & Myer Gift Card is buy it from the Myber store which it far away from me. Wish they could gave a better deal like ebay or amazon sale, EOFY is coming.

              • @RooBun: Not sure if Myers carry EFTPOS/Visa/MasterCard GC? You can just buy those and spend anywhere. I did this with the $30 off $200 Coles offer.

  • +3

If you don't know what to buy from Kogan, just simply buy their $100 gift card for further saving

    • Gift cards are only available at different domain, are they in scope as well?

      • +2

I have checked gift cards are under the same domain, you can definitely buy it and use later

  • +3

If only there was a way to stack with latitudepay.

    • +3

There is. Buy a gift card, add it to your account and then pay for your item with a combination of gift card and LatitudePay

  • Thanks OP. Used this to get $30 off Returnal which was looking to be over $100 everywhere.

  • +4

thanks, used this to get the mx master 3 for $79

  • Got the offer and saved

Going to preorder Ratchet & Clank on PS5. Will work out to $84 incl shipping. It's not an amazing deal but probably cheaper than release will be…https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/playstation-ratchet-and-clank-rift-apart-ps5-playstation/

  • How much is to get a comm bank rewards card? ANZ never have any promotion

    • These are rewards for most people not on a rewards card.

  • Will buying $100 gift card qualify for the promo spend?

  • +3

Poor Kogan -10% on its share price

    • explains why they're trying to clear inventory

  • When paying, is anyone else getting: 'Payment unsuccessful. Failed to authenticate with your card issuer' after putting in the 6 digit netcode?

    • Nope mine just went through fine. Maybe try again.

  • How do you activate Commbank Rewards?

    • +1

Through the CommBank app (menu on top left > For you > CommBank rewards > select the offer and activate).

      • +1

Thanks mate. Nothing showing for me so maybe I'm not included

Not certain that purchasing a $100 Kogan GC would be valid for $30 cashback but took a punt anyways.

Vornado 660 Air Circulator Fan Black $179 with free delivery via Kogan First

Purchased $100 Kogan GC first up using CBA card after activating the $30 cashback offer.

Signed up for a new Kogan account for the Kogan First trial.

Not sure if it'll work but went through CashRewards for a possible 2% cashback (new Kogan customers on first purchase only).

Added the $100 GC to the new Kogan account and applied it during checkout.

Went through LatitudePay to pay the rest off and got the $25 discount.

    • +1

Should be… CBA doesn't know if the purchase was a GC or a Dildo as long as you use your credit card to pay Kogan directly.

      • Wait so Kogan sells dildos now that's great to know.

        • +2

I was only kidding.. but just for laughs…. https://www.kogan.com/au/shop/?q=dildo lol

          • @JimB: 🤣

            • +1

@dins: I shouldn't be surprised as they seem to sell anything and everything.

              • +1

                @JimB: Mother's day sorted!

                • +1

@dins: Didn't expect that reply! haha

                  Would be a tad awkward.

    • So did you get the CB?

      • +1

In the app says claimed but haven't seen the $30 yet.

        • +1

          Cheers

@currentfad: Just received the $30 this morning for the $100 Kogan GC 🍻

      • I purchased gift card based on messages here but it still hasn't been confirmed let alone paid into my account unlike the Chemist Warehouse one which took about a day to be confirmed and about a week to be paid? I made purchase on 12/5 so it's still early I guess they do say it could take up to 14 business days? I hope I get it as I already sold the gift card for $90 lol

        • Will take around a week.

          • @dins: Tx It was tracked/verified today so it should get paid in the next few days I assume :)

  • Can any one please help me, I would love to buy the 100$ gift card for 70$ if you have this offer ?

    • It's not really confirmed that it'll work 100% for GCs the $30 discount is not instant. The $30 cashback should be confirmed within 14 days if it does actually work.

      • +1

Ah ok, thanks for the note. I'll ask my friend around.

        • Are you a Westpac customer if so check Westpac Extras.

Also LatitudePay has an instant $25 off $75+ purchase atm. Ends today I think but haven't tried with Kogan GCs.

          • @dins: I tried to sign up, and fail at the identity check which was weird as I have signed up with a lot of credit cards before. Better they should not say "instantly approved".

            • @tngo8: Are you referring to LatitudePay?

              • @dins: Yes

                • @tngo8: Yeah it's weird I've seen some people saying the same in the current deal thread. Maybe it's to stop people from signing up during big promos have no idea.

                • @tngo8: Yeah I had the same issue with latitude pay a while back when they had a decent promo going. F&#$ them I say, honestly their business model is built on hoping people either don't pay in full or transition to one of their ridiculously expensive credit facilities. It's probably for the best long term anyway.
If you offer ppl $85 for a $100 gift card so you get a $15 discount and they make $15 profit for the inconvenience/risk you might have better luck. Unless you have personal friends who want to do you a favour of course. Good Luck though

  • Also a similar offer is showing on Westpac Extras but only $15 for $100 and not sure if it's a targeted offer. Again not certain whether it'll work for GCs.

    • T&Cs states that cashback not valid for essential products. Does that include GC?

Also states that unable to claim if payment platforms are used such as afterpay, zip and paypal. Not sure if latitude pay is part of it

      • LatitudePay should not be an issue because you would have purchased the GC already to get the $30 cashback.

The issue however is would GCs be a valid cashback purchase. If CBA alone handles the cashback then won't be an issue since they wouldn't really know what was actually purchased. If Kogan has to approve then there's a possibility that they'll decline it since GCs are listed under Kogan essentials from what I can see (T&Cs does state excludes any Kogan essential items and mentions a few of them but doesn't mention GCs directly). So yeah bit of a punt this one.

I only realised that GCs are listed under Kogan essentials on their desktop site after purchasing so yeah that's that 😂

      • Looks like it works fine for the $100 GC despite the no essential products bit in T&Cs.

  • +5

Can confirm the $30 cashback works fine for the $100 Kogan GC y'all! 🍆

    • How many days did it take to be in your account? Ta

      • Took around a week.

  • Can Kogan gift card be used to buy for their mobile prepaid SIM?
