Nah, $3500ish is quite common at this moment. TGG, Bing Lee, HN, JB are all offering similar prices.
Currently the cheapest one I can find is Appliances Central: $3520 with free shipping

Agree Not a good price for this late in the cycle pretty much been this price for last 6months, would negotiate in-store for low $3’s atleast, really should be in the $2’s

Yep. If you want the best picture there’s no other choice. Just look after it and no issues.
What negatives? Burn in issues are reducing due to improvement in display technology. The prices are also reducing. Brightness of panels also improving for viewing in brightly lit rooms. What other negatives are there?
Agreed. I love mine and there are safeguards in place that prevent burn in. Gotta love those deep blacks.

Yes, up until 2 days ago there was some stock left at a few locations in Metro Melb at JB. Picked mine up early April from the Melbourne distribution centre and even then there were few locations left.
Good guys in Noarlunga (SA) are having clearance on 65 CX for $2999. Not sure if other GG stores are doing the same. Only display stock left in that store. I would check around you might be able to get a good deal
I just called and reserved the last remaining unit at Good Guys in Browns Plains for $2,965. On my way to pick it up. =)

Yeah I got the last one at a store near mine for around the same price. Was gonna wait till later in the year to get the C1 but for this price I am willing to bite the bullet
