My motherboard had a usb c plug so i thought i would buy something to fill it?

  • If that's a display-capable USB-C port, wouldn't a hub with any display-out be more useful (even in general)

      Considering he said the USB-C port he’s trying to fill (why?) is on a motherboard, I’d expect it doesn’t have any display functionality. Besides, then the OP would need to buy a monitor to fill up the display output.

      Bought one of these. Works perfectly.

        Bought one, tested it for speed and bought a few more. They also have one with a USB A plug for the same price but they keep running out of stock.
        You can use one of each daisy chained and get 7 ports off the one USB C on the computer.
        They also have a 5V 3.5mm socket for optional powered hub mode but don't come with the 5V power supply.
