This popular laptop is back in stock in Dell's eBay store (the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U was previously posted for about ~$100 more, see link below). Solid specs for an entry-level laptop for general usage. I've been browsing for new and secondhand laptops around the $400-800 price range and came to the conclusion that this laptop is best value, particularly for a new laptop.
Not the lowest price from the previous Black Friday sale of ~$560, but still decent if you need a laptop now. You can use 5% off eBay gift cards to get to ~$570 and 2% cashback on top of that.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700U v Ryzen 5 3450U:
From some brief googling, I found that the performance score difference between these processors were marginal (for general usage) and wouldn't be able to justify the extra ~$100 (particularly as I'm buying this for the in-laws), but really depends on each user's needs!
