isnt this a dupe that pops up every few months?
prices for unlimited entry was $110 or something for like the last six months. we got ours in July. It only dropped to $80 a few days ago for locals. more like a six months cycle, not every few months, and makes this a better deal than a single day entry for most of the locals.
I can't recall when it was last $80 for the 3 parks. I think it must have been 3 years ago. It is true they have a similar deal every 6 months but it cost more than $100.

the rides are all included. there is peak season and off peak season when visit the parks as locals. peak has long queues, and off peak has limited rides (repairs, shut for the week, etc etc).
no food allowed, but also no one will check you upon entry. sign up for birthday free entry for the kids etc.

Do they check ID on entry? As in if family members that live there buy it, can visitng members to "borrow" it without being checked?
All ridea are included at Sea World, Movie World but Wet N Wild has some extra rides you have to pay for (Zipline, Flow Rider and Sky Coaster).

Is it worth buying for just one or two visits to each park?
Racq is selling an adult ticket for $72 and $45 for kids. If you are planning on going to 2 theme parks then it is cheaper to buy the $79.
went to wet n wild this morning, got there at 10:30am with small section of the car park available. vip pass took around 5 min to get in. other ticket holders in a queue of what looked like 30-40 min wait (processing tickets by a number of counters). lots of people with eskys and picnic stuff. we got out around noon and gave our parking spot to others. we mainly stayed in the kiddies pool. very children friendly.
wonder if I can get family members who live close by to buy them for me, surely they couldnt ask every1 for photo id???
we used our driver license when we turned up to seaworld with a hotel tour desk voucher (yes, we got 20% discount beats the 15% RACQ).
the park staff checked the adults addresses but not the children. photos are taken with webcam at the gate of the park once. the passes are then scanned at each park when you go for the remainder of the year (cycle is 1jul to 30jun)
does being on a working holiday or student count?
it would possibly go off whatever is on your drivers license or whatever ID you had?
Wet and Wild car park gets full very early on hot days! make sure you have a plan B (like drop off the kids then driver hike from movie world car park etc)
