  • May I ask if there is a suitable ink for left handers?

    i usually use quink, but if I need to quickly jot a note, or write in short hand, im still moving fast enough that i end up with a blue hand, and somehow magically that hand always seems to find a white shirt…

    Im back to using ballpoints because even Gel pens smudge like the dickens.

    I have vision disabilities, so I prefer a medium or large tip, for bold writing.

    Any suggestions?

    • Noodler's Bernanke? not sure if it is really much faster than Quink

    • Hello!

      Great question!

      If you're after FP ink, then the LAMY T53 in the Benitoite - this specific colour is document proof, meaning it’s fade and water resistant; but it’s dry time is about 20secs unfortunately. https://milligram.com/collections/all/products/lamy-t53-30ml….

      I am also left handed so stick to LAMY ballpoint pens for quick note taking :)

      • On the plus side, I've found a cheap 'crappy' pen that's actually an amazing daily use;

        it's a simple BIC pen, but it's their "Atlantis" ballpoint, medium tip range.
        They advertise as "as smooth as a Gel"; and for once, advertising seems honest!

        These write in a nice bold medium tip, and are so smooth, I thought I'd accidentally bought gel; but after hours of writing, there is some colour on my hand, but no smudges on the paper.

        At a guess, I'd say the ball is just smaller than the cartridge would normally take, allowing more flow (and therefore, lubrication of the tip).
        All in all, for a $7 pack of 5 pens, these are by far the best leftie-friendly pens I've used.

    • Sailor Kiwa-Guro is another option. It is waterproof and dries quickly. Very good ink

    Thanks, I wasn’t interested in the pen but did order a bunch of stuff that I probably don’t need lol. Crazy discount though 👍🏻

  • Gone already? I'm getting a 404 error.

    • Sorry, looks like lots of people snapped this one up!
