I have the model below this. Which is pretty much the same, just has slightly less wash cycles.
Some of the reviews on Product review 100% have to be fake. The person claiming you can barely hear it, is deaf AF. Any washing machine on 1200+ spin is going to be loud.
Happy to answer any questions people have.
To be honest, if you run it fairly empty and keep the RPM to 1000, its very quiet. But if you go to 1400, its louder. And if you load it more than 50% capacity over 1000RPM it does get just as noisy as any other washer. Just the way it is, I bet even Miele and AEG will be the same.
@reactor-au I think all mainstream modern brands are equally as loud/quiet. But the person in the reviews above, mentioned barely being able to hear it, unless it was on 1400 spin. Which I think is a huge exaggeration.
The LG is a good unit, especially at this price.
No they're not. I repair these for a living and LG aren't the brand they were 10 years ago. They are utter garbage now and I would avoid them. The best front loaders this year IMO are Electrolux and Samsung, I don't see many of them. Things aren't getting better though generally they're getting worse for some brands, but LG have been crap for a long time now
@theRev: Any thoughts on the Haier HWF90BW1? (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Haier-HWF90BW1-9kg-Front-Loa…)
$608 delivered to WA with Afterpay discount.
Good price, but not very well rated by the looks:

I currently have an LG 10kg model that is ~8 yrs old and it has had a few issues over the years, and now is pretty cactus (refuses to spin without going wildly out of balance).
I'm now on the hunt for something new but probably would not buy another LG.
