You can get a cheap whisk at Kmart or Woolies, but OXO Good Grips series is great if you want better quality.

  Agree. I've cooked professionally and I kept two Oxo Good Grip whisks in my kit. Much more practical for smaller jobs than the other monster that I own.

  At home, the 23cm whisk is great for omelets and little jobs and the 28cm whisk is used for bechamel, polenta etc.

  • Note: The smaller whisk is perhaps one-third of the effective volume of larger whisk.

  Comfortable handle makes such a difference!
