Seek medical help, something isn't right if it has fins.

Decent deal, $110 at JB-Hi Fi.

  • Looks like a decent deal. Is it better than the MX Master version 1?

    • I have the MX master 1 too. Wanted to check how good this one is?

I got this free from the Dell S2721DGF deal. Compared to the MX Master 1, it's much lighter but doesn't feel as premium or high quality. But they're mouses in completely different categories.

The MX Master has the programable thumb button and side scroll wheel.

The 310M don't have side scroll, but has much higher DPI.

If you use it for mostly work, then stay with the MX master. If you use it for FPS gaming then 310M is probably better.

      • I never use my side scroll wheel, I don't even know what does. I use my side back/forward button alot though. The mx master can also connect to 3 devices at one time, can the alienware do that too?

        • No, this only connects to one device at a time through USB receiver. No BT

I find side scroll pretty useful for excel and some websites that slides horizontally.

      • Lol, wth did I get downvoted??

        • haters gotta hate mate

  • As an owner I'd like to mention that this mouse uses single AAA battey and you are likely have to replace a new battery every 2-3 weeks.

G304 uses single AAA too but it lasts much more longer.

I use it for work already and plan to order another one for another desk. feels great and if any issues they can pick up from home and send a new one.

  • I recently bought the 610m for $85 via dell-ebay. They had 22% off sales. The mouse doesn't feel as premium as I thought it would. Looks good though.

  • If you're hoping to use this on a non-alienware PC, then stay clear. I had the 610 for a while and it drove me crazy… Latest drivers kept detecting i didnt have an alienware PC and locked me out of the additional features like speed and colour management. I had to keep downgrading my drivers to get it to work until i just gave up…
I mean, the specs tell you what pc the mouse is compatible with, but i just figured it would work on any newish Dell. I mean what is the friggin point in software-locking a bloody mouse? Dont they want a larger audience of potential consumers??

  • Can this even do Mac?? ;)
