  Hmm I might get these as a temporary fix for my parents wifi coverage issues… note the MW3 only has 100Mbps ports, need to get the MW6 for Gig ports.

    You can mix and match. MW6 at the gateway and MW3's distributed around will eliminate the 100Mbps bottleneck. I have a MW6 at my internet router and another at my NAS (connected to the gigabit ethernet port) and 3 MW3's scattered around the property. Works flawlessly.
