So you have a monitor now, but do you have this?

I purchased one late last year and have been using it ever since. Extremely nice quality product (aluminium build). Projects light uniformly in the space in front of you and prevents eye strain/shadow when writing. Has a wireless remote for adjusting brightness/temperature/on/off, for add convenience. Highly recommend it. I've completely ditched my old desk lamp.

Gets pretty bright as well - few nice pics from aliexpress reviews

    Does Xiaomi light flicker at lower brightness setting? I am very sensitive to flickering. To check you just need to move your index finger side to side rapidly in front of the light. If you see multiple impression of your fingers, then it flicker. If you see a smooth no step transition from one end to another, than it is not flicker but must be in a lower light setting, not at full brightness. Could you check please.

    Got my lamp yesterday and am very impressed with it so far. Build quality is excellent and it works very well: bright enough to replace my Taotronics LED desk lamp, no on-screen reflections and the remote control is pretty handy.

    Wish I could order two more at this price!

            @CyberMurning: For most people, the Xiaomi one is great.

            Yeelight model has RGB rear lights (the standard one can only display one colour at a time).

            Though, it requires to be plugged in as it uses more power. Xiaomi can be powered by any USB port on your PC or laptop or monitor. When you turn your monitor off/on, the light turns off/on as well.

            If aesthetics is important to you, Yeelight one is silver with branding at the front. Xiaomi is black and no visible branding - giving it a more minimalistic design

            Everything else is mostly the same. Yeelight comes with higher price tag of course - at least $20+ more expensive

                @gmail92: Oh yep it was $65 but I think yeelight provided some support for banggood (in terms of discount) for the cyberpunk promo

                As for Xiaomi, we shall see. It’s cheaper but don’t expect anything huge - especially due to the higher currency rates now :(

                Though it is certainly better price than aliexpress + factoring in 1-2 week shipping. My order from last week (03/03) is already in Sydney now ;)
