I got myself one of the Lenovo laptops posted on OZB recently and was in the market for a fingerprint reader to unlock it.
I came across the Sunrose and the Kensington. From what I gather, Sunrose is cheaper, but has no 2FA, while the Kensington does.
It's currently retailing at Scorptec and PC Case Gear for $59

    I don't know if this Kensington one will work for you, but I suppose Amazon's return policy is good if it's DOA

  I've got one of these, recent windows update broke it but they came out with a driver update a couple days after and fixed it. Works flawlessly on Windows 10, saves the effort of typing a pin/password to login. If you use Lastpass Premium, this can be set up to use your fingerprint instead of using your master password.

    oh that's reassuring. there were some recent reviews that said it didn't work with some things. but it sounds like the update has fixed it.

    That one should be more secure since it encrypts your fingerprint before sending to computer to verify. Let's hope we don't get hacked with the cheaper one because$41 vs $100+ is noticeable

        If you are just using it for windows hello I wouldn't worry about it, I'm going to use the cheaper one
