I sometimes find myself with time to spare browsing youtube… and I'm on the lookout for recommendations. Currently I watch Colbert, Seth Meyers, some formula 1 related content, Premier League Highlights, the Slow Mo guys, James Hoffmann and Seven Miles for coffee related info… and thats about it. Interested in what people subscribe to and watch on there!

zefrank is very active, but less so since the covids. I highly recommend this channel. He has nature videos with accurate facts and much humor.
CinemaSins (and TVsins etc) is awesome. This guy sucks the fun, magic and joy from movies and TV. All movie and TV has been ruined for me.
Superwog has some great stuff. I think they made it to TV too.

CinemaWins is the other side of the coin, and is quite a good channel (IMO)
The critical drinker is a similar category, he does very well written and structured critiques of movies and series.

I got bored once and watched his first ever video. Amazing how much he's progressed since then.
Love me some Abroad in Japan. It's inspired my wife and I to one day do our own Journey Across Japan (though probably by car instead of bike).
Tokyo llama is a guy from melbourne who bough an akiya (abandoned house) in Ibaraki prefecture. His renovations and discussion on upgrading an abandoned house are quite awesome.

One of the most tranquil and beautiful food channels I've ever seen.
I like Adam Ragusea and Ethan Chlebowski, they are both solid food youtubers and I really like that they also talk about the science behind cooking.
Also there's Joshua Weissman who is funny and makes great food.
Another good NBA channel is Nodunks (originally The Starters on NBATV). 2 Canadians, an American and an Aussie breaking down the games daily. Very fun take on it. The Aussie guys Leigh is a fan favourite.

If you like Bald & Bankrupt, you might also like NFKRS, who's featured on his channel a few times. He's a young russian guy with excellent english that talks about russian life, and has leftie/western sensibilities, so his perspective is interesting.

I work next door to their garage. I'm always leaving my office for a "lunch break" and actually having a sneaky peak at what they are going. We have had a few chats and they even jumped started my car one rainy evening. Great guys.
