  • Fark 96W in an LED - this must be blinding

  • Are these fan cooled or passive?

  • From the website: "By choosing Star Sparky Direct, you will receive the best advice and technical expertise. Similarly, the highest quality brands"

What brand is this light? I can't see it mentioned anywhere. Which brands are the highest quality?

    • From the PDF on the page: "ECO LIGHT UP, OPTI-BOOST GEN3 SERIES, 96W LED HIGH BAY"

  • OP, can you translate the specs into a height / coverage? i.e. for a shed each light should be X metres above the floor and should cover a radius of Y metres

    • Did some mathsing myself.

      96W * 135lm/W = ~13,000lm for each light
From here I'm looking for 200-500 lux (lm/m^2) for a shed (10.7 lux per foot candle)
At 13,000 lm and 500 lux, one light will cover 26m^2, so a six pack of lights should brightly light a 150m^2 shed

      Hope I'm right enough

  • Took a stab and bought a six pack for my future shed. Delivery was $43 to Canberra
