Wanted a mini for an obscure part of the house. Seem to be around $58/$59 at all the usual suspects. Catch.com.au had the lowest price, but the best was getting the price beat at my local Officeworks.
Only Chalk / Charcoal are on offer at this price, but OW staff were a bit too busy with back-to-school sales and gave me a Sky Blue unit by mistake. Bonus.

I had two for $77 on eBay for long time, no selling.
There are so, so many ways to get one of these for free using Telstra points, Qantas points, Spotify, eBay plus trial etc. All four of mine have been free.

Baecause you can use those points or credits for something else, it NOT free, just no need to spend real money.
These will stop working when Google leaves Australia though.
$35 is about the most you want to pay for these given the numerous sales and bundle deals. Otherwise stretch a little and get a home hub or speaker with Google assistant for around $100.
The 2nd Gen has much better audio quality though and I'm actually really impressed given the size. Potentially sounds better than the Nest Hub and Lenovo display.
2nd gen is pretty good. i got a couple of these for TV/lounge though and are really good.

Appreciate linking a variation of a GA speaker I am sure because the price point is very different they bloody should be better!
All over facebook marketplace for cheaper. People don't want them after getting for free.
