      It was the same for me, may be because they removed check out from the site while they correct the price. Try now and it will allow you to place the order at $30. Mine has just gone through successful.

    But the annoying part would be to find it cancelled next morning and our data has been taken for whatever marketing etc. purposes!!

  • I'll get in early now and say to everyone. If they cancel and refund, there is to be no grumbling or threatening to call the Ombudsman or whinging here that they have to honour it and so on. It was a bit of fun giving it a go…………….but do feel sorry for accounts.
    There is a small chance that they will honour it and if so, then fantastic.

    Hey OP: Not sure I would have shared this on OZB as perhaps you might have got yours. BUT let's say 3000 people go for it…………….I can't see Catch Connect agreeing to all. Thanks for the fun though :-)

    haha, it finally went through but I checked account page doenst show any plan, checked the email vola, it's here, took 10 mins and $31 charged, $1 verified card. Suncorp is slow enough not to have updated change in my card, should have paid with commbank for peace of mind

    Thanks for posting Op, the 120gb plan was taking too long to load so I bought the 60gb for $31.

    • So what the hell happened, why would they want to change $120 to $120? Did they intend to put it back up to $150 or deduct $30 from $120 meaning $90?

      • They intended to deduct $30 from $150.

        $120 was the intended promo price. It was a mistake that someone entered $120 as a discount resulting in this $30 price.

        • But this was already discounted by $30 from $150 all along unless they only intended to extend the $120 deal?

      • My guess is someone is building the deal pages in the live site copied another deal page and forgot to fix the amount. I had a similar issue happen before, I called them and sked for it to be honoured, but that it looked to be a mistake on their part, and they said "thanks, we'll fix it shortly, but no we aren't honouring it"

  • It's indeed a price error. If you check the home page of catch connect, the big banner with the big white letter on red background mentions "New Customer Only $120 for the first 365 days". I have also bought it but do not have a high expectation of getting this honoured. Finger Crossed.

      If they really get 5000+ new customer, it's a good marketing. The cost for them to offer this service should be very low.
