42cm belt size. would want at least 46cm to run. treadmill is one of those things where you really want to spend the money to get a decent one

  A treadmill I owned had 60" L (152cm) and 20" W (51cm)
  
  I couldn't imagine running on anything much smaller.
  
  The treadmill posted here is for walking only…. or running if you have a very small stride.

I once bought an elliptical on eBay. Would never have guessed the quality could be so poor. Threw it out. Not saying this treadmill is poor, but never again.
