  DOH!!!! Just bought it yesterday with a $30 recharge….

  If anyone wants to get this phone unlocked very very cheap, please let me know.

    I hope you're not suggesting charging for the use of unlocking tools which are available for free online…

    I haven't tested either but there are reports they both work. (I don't have an ace but most samsung phones are easy to unlock).

    even this might work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359478 but its for galaxy s and galaxy s 2, dunno if it will work for the ace.

    BTW. ace is cheap but it seems a bit shitty, for a little more you could get the galaxy s or nexus s.

      No, I was suggesting giving a link to an ebay auction that I used… I don't have anything to do with the unlocking…. I just didn't want to post the ebay link, as I think i read it's against the rules.

      The free ones seem like a good idea though, try those first, you might even beat the $4.50 that I paid to have mine unlocked!!!!

  The Galaxy 5 for $99 also looked good - with a $30 recharge. I think you also get a $10 SIM in the box, so the phone's only $59.
  I just bought a couple from HN which came with a $40 recharge for free, so only $49 for the phone…and they can be unlocked for free! But the HN deal ends today, so BW is next best bet I think.

  Just for info, the ACE doesn't charge with regular portable chargers for some reason. I've tried with a few car chargers and more importantly a CHARGER INSTANT DURACELL PPS2. - may just be mine, but whatever it is, it's incredibly annoying
