    Ammonia-free is meant to smell more pleasant.

      I have since done some reading online. Ammonia free is important if you want to use on glass on cars or tinted glass. Using Windex original (with ammonia) will damage tints (causing it to peel/bubble).

        +1. DO NOT use Windex (with ammonia), as this will damage your car window tint (whether stock tint or mod tint)!!!

  Haven't tried a direct comparison, but read that dishwashing liquid does a similar job as it is also streak free.

    A secret - thats all window cleaners use, some morning fresh in warm water. Squeegee off is the key.

  I just picked this up from Woolworths yesterday, at the same price of $2.15 (50% off). I am guessing this price may be valid for only this week's catalogue special (which may finish on Tuesday 5 January).

  Got one for free. It was the last one at my local Woolies and the sprayer was a bit damaged. I asked the staff to check if they had any more in stock, unfortunately, they didn't have. The lady at the service desk said I can have it for free. Thanks Woolies.
