Spend $50 or more on any one Gift Card and receive 500 points!
Which will worth 5 movies.

Terms and Conditions:
Members will earn points on each gift card purchased in cinema between 1 – 24 December (inclusive)
500 points will be awarded for each card purchased at $50 or more.
Multiple cards can be purchased in the same transaction. Points will only be awarded to cards within that transaction valued at $50 or over.
Points will automatically be applied to members accounts at the end of their gift card transaction.
This offer is available only to members who purchase gift cards in cinema upon presenting themselves at the time of purchase as a Hoyts Rewards member.
This offer is not available to members who purchase Gift Cards online.
Standard points will also be earned by any Hoyts Rewards member who redeems the gift card in cinema based on the card value.
If you purchase a Hoyts Rewards Welcome pack in cinema and a Hoyts Gift Card in the same transaction you will not be eligible to receive the 500 points.

  All good and well, but are there any restrictions, what about 3D etc? I'd like a breakdown of what each item would cost (ie one adult ticket = x points; one child ticket = y points) etc before doing anything.

    The above is the points price list. 500 points won't even buy 1/3 of an adult ticket. Rip off in the extreme.

        so how is buying $50 gift card giving you 500 points get you 5 movies ?

        They have a redemption catalog thingy. I signed into my a/c and saw it. What a rip off. Event's cinebuzz is much better.

    I believe 1850 is $18.50 not 1850 points. Hence, 500 pts = 5 adult tickets.

    You earn 1 point per membership card, per visit. It's 10 points for 1 adult movie ticket. So if you go to the movie a lot, it's best if everyone has their own card.

    For this deal, if you buy a $50 gift card, you get 7 adult tickets (equal $7.15/ticket), with $13 left over on the gift card.

    If you are not already a member, take note of the last T&C.

    "If you purchase a Hoyts Rewards Welcome pack in cinema and a Hoyts Gift Card in the same transaction you will not be eligible to receive the 500 points."

    Make sure you buy the membership first in a separate transaction (it's done on the spot), then buy the gift card.

      This info is incorrect. 1850 is the amount in POINTS. The list of point prices was retrieved from the points catalogue when you sign into your account.
      If it were $18.50, it would say, $18.50, not 1850 points.

  Voteoften is correct, when you sign into your account choose the points catalogue option. 500 points will get you 1/3 of a normal movie ticket or 1/3 of a combo at the candy bar. 1850 POINTS is correct for a general admission adult ticket.
  We were already buying someone a hoyts gift card for christmas so the points were a bonus, however I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to purchase someone a gift card just for the points.
