was poking at the shopping express boxing day sale deals and the $499 for the dual drives caught my eye, clicked through and it's $11 cheaper at the moment. not sure if the deal prices is a typo or what.
also curious if this is actually a decent deal as I could use 2 packs for a new media server I'm building.

For the difference in price you could get one and still be ahead in price and storage.
More expensive because you're getting a "bonus" portable SSD during the sale.
