fixed thanks
You’d think if you spend $600 on RAM you’d get prime/free shipping… 🤔
prime
$150 per 32gb on Amazon is very normal. Don't seems to be a deal anyway
?? this is 128gb kit
this use to be $857 according to price hipster
128gb/$600 (still charge shipping with prime) = 32gb/$150. You can buy a 32gb ddr4 4 times or whatever you want. For most pc users 64gb is enough
$150 per 32gb as in 8gb x 4 sticks or a singular stick of 32gb. All the single 32gb sticks i see is near $200
Not for a single 32gb module
It's cheaper to make 8gb module

@ln28909: wasnt $287x2 for 32gbx2x2 cheaper than $597+8 for 128gb apart from that you have more flexibility on the amount you want to buy
@johangules: No heatsink, basic clock speed of 3200mhz so likely to be like an a0 pcb
This here has a heatsink, got tested at a higher speed so likely to have a higher tier pcb
Also heatsink has great effect on aesthetic and that's pretty important
Edit: yeah 3200 cl22, that thing is slow af
plus $8.93 delivery
I don't know if this is a deal (scaling from 16GB stick prices, not much of one), but 4x32 is overkill for gaming. Useful if your main browser is Chrome though
I paid $330 for 64gb of ram in a quad channel kit a few months ago so this is a nice price for 128gb, If you need it. I don’t know why anyone would need 128gb of ram but I suppose people would have said I don’t know why anyone would need 8gb of ram back in 2006 on a Q6600 DDR2 system, and now 14 years later that cpu and amount of ram could function as a fine office PC with an SSD
Dude, I only retired my Q6600 something like three years ago, and that's because I wanted a laptop.
I'd say that was a long time to have a Q6600, but I upgraded a celeron laptop last year with a better CPU as a linux test rig…..
@Forfiet: Sure, but it worked
@Manny Calavera: That's the main thing! I bought a new Ryzen PC this year, but I spend more time working on my ~8 year old dell I7 4770 with a new case, fans.etc…. I use it for webshopping, youtube and netflix while the new pc is for demanding games only. No sense getting rid of a good pc
"how much ram do you need?"
"Yes"
"All of it"
So is this enough to run Chrome? Its a bit slow with my current 64GB……
Or android studio 🤣
no, you're gonna need a 5950x and 3090 too
ouch…. oh well I have RGB that has to count right?

How many sticks was this? 4x32GB?
