    I had really bad experience with gigabyte recently. I will never buy Gigabyte again

        Be very careful with Gigabyte promotion. Their promotion has the term while stock last. I managed to apply for the promotion to get the free ssd. But then they said they have ran out. I mean WTF. I spent all the time filling in the form, taking picture of the product, submitting the invoice, did all that for nothing.

    Tempted by that 2080S.

    I'm using a 2060 non-Max q version. Passmark scores my 2060 as faster than the max q 2080S. Would this even be an upgrade? (the other specs are fairly even)

    I should just wait for next gen mobile GPUs, I only just upgraded 18mo ago…

      Not a huge upgrade if at all. 2060 non maxQ base 960, boost 1200. 2080s maxQ 975, 1260

    Dropping prices as 30xx coming. Still too high I think.
    Dell 2070 max-p time to time for $1900 on sale. 17 inch, 144Hz..

    S = Super, which are significantly faster improved versions of cards

    Q = Max-Q, lower wattage mobile version with inferior performance but fit in thinner devices + less heat

      That is because performance is nearly the same.

      The mobile space is very small in gains between tiers.

    Awww man I pulled the trigger on a metabox last week during the black Friday sales. Same price as these but these are all higher spec and brand name for the same price. I would have gone for that gigabyte 15 it looks awesome even has thunderbolt. I can't believe how bad my luck is. Not fair!!!
