Haha this + coke unleashed coupons = win.

    • This would be great if I was insured by Medibank Private. Now to see if I can find someone who is.

  • I think last year tickets were $10 for an all day pass. Was perfect for a day out with the kids.

I'd much rather watch the tennis at home on TV. Free and you get a better view of what's happening without the crowds and whatnot.

    • This guy doesn't like atmosphere.

      • Oh, and it's usually very hot at the time of year. The crowds look like they're dying, with their little fans. I will be watching at home in an air-conditioned room thank you very much!

        • I went there a few yrs back & it was like 40'C with little to no wind & on top of that humid & I also had to sit a in the sun on top of the free smh newspapers on the plastic seat thats was literally hot enough to fry ur butt off not to mention sweat making ur clothes stick! Couldn't snag a vacant shaded seat too cause it was packed as, so you could say that the ppl in the sun were dying of dehydration while the others in the shade were watching them waiting for their turn as the sun shifted….

They also give out these small cardboard medibank sunshades that do nothing to block the sun, which btw will not fit anyway if you have a big head. Better to take ur own hat, sunnies & most importantly sunscreen as the heat is so hot it really burns your skin! Imagine what the players go though.

Long story short: Love the atmosphere for the experience, but not the weather. Haven't been since & have watched it in comfy air-con & will continue to unless its a moderate day around 25-30'C.

        • hot and smelly people. tennis is pansy anyway. lawn owls is hardcore.

  • Not my deal but its cool that you posted some medibank stuff since I'm a member :) Look forward to future Medibank posts!
