For anyone wondering what raw honey is https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/raw-honey-vs-regular

    • Raw, I get…but ~$40 / Kg seems High to me.

Cheapest "bulk" Honey from Woolies, ATM: $ 9 / Kg…
      But it's a mix:

      90% Honey from South America(!)
      10% Aussie Honey

OTOH, Honey from Flinders Ranges was $ 28 for 3 Kg
      (fr a 7th Day Adventist shop), ie, $ 9.33 / Kg
Well worth the extra $1, for 100% local honey, IMO..

Both come in plastic "buckets" (1 Kg & 3 Kg, resp)

  • Do you sell any honeycombs?

    • No, sorry.

      • Is it Kosher?
        Supervised?

        If so, by which authority?

  • After a quick google I've come to find that some people call a 'Honey Crackle' a 'Honey Joy'.

  • There was a lot of controversy a while back about honey being contaminated and not 100% Australian when it claims to be. How can we be confident that this is a genuine product?
Also, curious about what kind of honey this is, or is it a blend?

    • That honey was sold by large brands like Capilano https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-09-03/capilano-and-supermar…

We are a very small producer and the honey is straight from the comb. The best way to test it is to try the honey. You will notice the difference right away. We wouldn't be able to stay in business if we churned through customers as big brands do.

Yes, it's a blend. We also sell red gum honey.

      • The best way to test it is to try the honey.

        If only.

        • I'd put a foto of some aspect of the operation in the box, beside your listing or Lotsa fotos of your operation on a website or Mylia collection (Accounts w/ fewer than 25,000 forks are Free)

At least they'll refund your $ if not happy [for 1 bottle] :website.

          • @IVI: Nothing stops me from buying cheap honey, (from who knows where), and claim it as mine, get a few beehives just for the photo shoot and all 😊😊😊

We buy from a trusted source. Costs more, but at least know it is real.

      • Is the red gum raw?

        • Pure, Raw, but blended… what the….. am I missing something here?

      • Easy solution is buy Beechworth Honey that was the best performer of the German testing and 50% of your price .

  • Cannot apply the coupon

    • Put the order through. I will apply it in the backend.

      • How can you apply in the backend unless I make the order. Also you guys dont suport paypal ?

        • Yeah, that's what I mean - once you make the order, I can apply the coupon code to your order in the backend so you get the discount. Code is working for others.

          No PayPal, card only.

          • @honeyjoy: .
            I suspect s/he doesn't like to support
            Huge and/or MultiNational corp's…?

Neither does EU, who may Fine some
            "10% of their -Worldwide- earnings"
            (Now, -that's- thinking B-I-G…!!! ;~)

            "PayPal is a must,
            If u want our trust"

            PS Maybe accept I.O.U's.
            (I didn't think you would)

Wow >$40 per 1 kg for honey is not a bargain. Check Facebook or gumtree for your local beekeepers for raw honey. Yes of course usually disclaimer about quality control ect…

Most sellers of raw honey around Canberra charge $14-20 for 500g jar. The guy I buy from sells at $20/L straight from his farm, and explained his whole process of how he keeps the honey raw. Costco is the cheapest; from memory its around $19 for a 1.5L bucket of raw honey.

This is way overpriced, even for good stuff. I commented this, as did a lot of people from Op’s last post and now. Local farmers market or even Facebook marketplace sells for average $10 per kg. So you are paying around $30 for shipping

$40 for 1 kg is insane

Also the business of applying the code after making the order at the backend is nonsense.

    Where's the BARGAIN?

  • Good lord, I get mine for 20/L and he drops it off at my place and stops for a chat

  • A not-so-local Honey-monger attends
    our local (cost-free) outdoor "flea-market"
as much to chat with the Locals, as to sell.

He does surprisingly well; he says he goes
to lots of such markets… around in Outback
towns & venues. Drives a nice, big 4WD,
so his costs must be huge…

Gotta invest to win in business.

PS All he sells (AFAIK) is Honey.
