Found it in-store, 250gr bag for $6.98. both are pretty good tasting blend for the price. Sumatra best before 23/12 Veranda 21/12. It's The Rocks Store behind the MCA at Circular Quay.

I think some beans are best after a week and up to two weeks, but that's fancy stuff anyway
Freshly-roasted beans need to off-gas for a few days post-roast or the extractions can be very unpredictable. It would be a VERY dark roast that needs a 7-14 day degassing period.
You would be better off buying Aldi coffee beans - much fresher than these and other supermarket beans. At only $13 a kilo! Roasted in Melbourne too

I almost thought someone was posting more Aldi coffee at EVERYDAY prices before i clicked…
Those beans were best before MANY months ago. My personal preference is to consume within a week (not more than two weeks) of roast date.
Like Lavazza, Piazza D'oro, Grinders, Vittoria (et al) those Starbucks beans are probably nudging 9-12 months post-roast
