Does this work at the masthead if not there is little point

    • looks like an indoor one,

also worth mentioning, these type of things are used when you have a long cable run or multiple points in the house, worked a charm for me.

you can only amplify whats already there so if you have a short cable, chances are your not going to do much.

      • in other words, you had signal loss due to cable attenuation! this highlights the importance of using low loss high quality cable and making it as short as possible and with the least number of connectors

        • i have low loss cable, the cable just goes all though the house, to each bedroom, lounge etc! bought heaps of it. decent quality RG6

    • As long as the amp has a reasonably low noise figure spec it would still be a benefit, even if mounted internally, say just before a splitter in the roof etc.
i agree best mounted at the antenna but some times you just need 'a bit more' signal to get a good picture quality.
usually about 65dBuv at the tv set antenna terminal.

  • Dear Rep, How does this compare to the Kingway products?

    • I am not sure but we have sold a lot of these in the past few months with very favourable reviews.
