  • Do any of these 4G tablets come with Band 28? Other than that it looks like a good deal.

  • 3 year old mediatek is worse than 3 year old shrimp

I'll take the Mediatek. You can keep the shrimp.

Better get the alldocube iplay 20 for this money.

The teclast m40 was around this price when on sale last time.

  • Impressive resolution. Has anyone here bought one of these before? Been on the look out for a tablet that has a really swish resolution (so, mostly been trawling for second hand iPad Mini 2/3/4/iPad Airs) for occasional reading of comics/art books as these look kinda crap on my multitude of e-ink devices. (colour e-ink/HD never took off like I'd hoped.)

I bought a Teclast T10 Master a few years ago which I'm pretty sure is the same resolution, most as a Marvel Unlimited reader. Still working well and looks great to me.

      • Oh yeah, that is the same res.

Thank you, that's actually a super helpful comment! Particularly to know it's working well after years. Never can be sure with these things.

Now I feel a bit more confident to give this a go rather than spending the same/little less on an old Apple device that breaks if you breathe on it wrong, has a proprietary port and tends to get a swollen battery after awhile.

  • Android 8.0!! That says a lot about the software experience you'll get from Teclast!

  • I'm waiting for the Alldocube iplay40 to become available to Aus. Very recently released for sale in China so fingers crossed. Any reps available to give an update?
