Crazy how the price of these dropped so much within a few months. This seems like a good price, with full Sony warranty. Even though its "seconds" aka seller refurbished, they wouldn't have been used for long, maybe max 4 months, since release was in August. Earpads most likely replaced with brand new.

While some of these I’m sure are in fact true seconds my guess is it’s just so Sony can sell them cheaply direct to the public themselves. Retailers don’t/won’t have to price match when it’s listed as a refurbished unit. I’d assume most buyers are getting new units.
I would buy brand new for a little more, however if you grab a eBay gift card on Saturday via Zip then it brings it down another 10% and that's pretty awesome….
Can't decide if i want these to replace my wired AKG K361s, even so I'd probably wait for brand new ones to come on sale as they're not that much more expensive anyway :(

Little bit disappointed. Headphones arrived but one side is missing the inner fabric on the ear cup. Will contact Sony to rectify
Looks like these went out of stock briefly but are now back in stock
Got mine today… The headphones themselves look very close to new, no scratches or signs of wear, but there is no original plastic to be found and everything has been opened/unsealed. The box is slightly dented on the corners and the box has been retaped shut on one side.
So not brand new like some others in the past have reported but Im happy so far.. this is basically what I expected.

Can anybody comment on how they feel on your ears? I had the xm3 but they were uncomfortably hot on my ears after 30 mins. I assume these would be quite similar being the same design an all….
