Lightning.
ouch.
it's a connector type, not real lightning
great wireless terrible for wired. because it still has latency not at bad as Bluetooth but still there. with that lighting to 3.5 cable.
worst consolation prize imaginable for people who missed out on the Bose Ultra for $200
Not sure if anyone will actually get their order from that one.
agreed
My heart bleeds when I think of the sound quality you can purchase for $699. Modern convenience comes at a hefty price. Airpods pro (on special) are as far as I'm willing to go for that convenience. Beyond that its a $500 set of wired phones that bury these in all aspect of SQ.
With true inflation running hot at 15% pa since 2020 they have come down in price a lot.
They were 0.36 oz of gold 4 years ago today, now only 0.215 oz @ RRP. or 0.167 oz at this price, so they've come down about 50%
I'd stick to gold then. If someone sees you holding gold while the price of gold goes up, you look like a legend. Whereas if someone see's you wearing a set of airpod Max's while the price of gold goes up, down or sideways, you look like a twat.
Or you buy Maxwells for $479 and have both convenience, low latency and lossless wireless, and sound quality.
You do lose ANC though.
