Historical low for these well reviewed headphones. Usually around $450 I believe. Can use cashback from whichever provider to get a little extra off
Back Order: Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months

…but,but, but DMS said…
I 100% agree with jasswolf
That’s a great price for a great sounding pair of headphones, but I think the durability is poor. This based on my reading and experience … mine broke after 2 years of infrequent use. I also found the fit to be poor. It seems to be designed for a big head.
Where did your XSs break, out of curiosity? The yoke?
For anyone else wondering, the AliExpress one linked costs AU$354.91 and although there's no shipping, there's tax and thus comes to AU$394.36. The sales codes linked also only work once per account and so unless you create a new account for the sole purpose of buying these cans, then it's not really worth it. I do agree with the assessment that these cans shouldn't really cost this much and so I'm not buying either of them.
The discount code I linked expired 3 days ago, and would have taken the price to $349 AUD if you were paying in local currency at the exchange rate AliE charges. It's cheaper to pay in USD if you have little-to-no exchange fees.
At the price I stated, the Edition XS is absolutely worth it.
You can currently buy the Hifiman Edition XS for almost $60 less on AliExpress with a basic sales code. It's not quite as tonally balanced, but it is the vastly superior headphone. It's also $449 locally via Amazon.
The Sundara is stuck in the referral/recommendation circlejerk so there's probably not enough stock to force a clearance price. In truth, it's worth less than $300 in the current market.
The Ananda Nano, Arya Stealth, Arya Organic are all on significant discount on AliE too, though the latter two had much better codes ($80 USD) and cashbacks (uncapped) combinations available to them for Black Friday.
I understand audio can be a little subjective due to head shape/size and ear canal peculiarities, but this is just a standard price now for the Sundara, and the Edition XS is a massive bargain, as is the Arya Stealth if you're in that price range. Ananda Nano is theoretically a huge bargain, but quality control seems to be a bit wider on that one, with some additional distortion or driver matching issues.
