Free 10 Month 1Password Families Subscription (Normally US$5/Month) @ 1Password (New Users)

1390
THANKS2020

Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy 1Password Families completely free for 10 months!
1Password syncs passwords and personal data across all your devices. It's not quite as slick or capable as many competitors, but it's still an easy-to-use utility.
For most people, a password manager must be available on all of their devices to be useful. 1Password apps recognizes that reality and offers apps for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. 1Password extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox extends its reach to any platform that supports those browsers.

Mod 1pm: According to comments, this appears to be for new users.

famous saying, if the product is free it means you're actually the product.

  • 1password number 1

  • Looking for a password management solution for the kids.

Am I able to specify a master account for us parents and then have sub accounts that the kids use but Master account can access too?

    • Yes. 1Password uses Vaults. The master account can create many vaults and allow selected family users access chosen vaults.

  • It's not quite as slick or capable as many competitors

    Which one is?

  • Is there anyway to go to the site and enter the code without using the links above?

Go for it. We believe in you!

  • 1Password feels fragmented. IOS, MacOS and Windows version behave, and look different. You cannot save an image to vault on IOS, denied as a security risk, however security dogma does not apply for MacOS. Looking forward to seeing the upcoming Microsoft Authenticator Password vault implementation.

  • I just use Passwordwon1onejuan.

  • What about NordPass?
Does anyone have any experience with this?

  • You get 10 Months free but then afterwards you'll either need to sign up for an expensive subscription or experience the hassle of transferring to a new service. I think it's easier to just skip the first steps and go straight to using Bitwarden

  • KeePass. Cross-platform on PC & Android (dunno about other OS). Free & open source. The best, ever.

  • I just checked my 1password. You used to be able to buy just the license, not the subscription, it was done through their website; agilebites?. I'm not sure if they still have it, but according to my 1password receipts, they did in April this year as that's when I purchased it. I remember it took my ages to locate on their website too.

1password is terrible compared to other options like LastPass

    • The opposite of all the feedback here so far. Care to give any kind of explanation?

  • OP can you find out when this offer expires?

  • Got sick of the monthly nickel and dime from 1Password, LastPass, etc so took the plunge recently and bought a lifetime subscription to Enpass. You can find it on Stacksocial for approx. USD$14.99. I have it on PC, Mac and iPhone and works pretty well. and NO MONTHLY FEE!

Also, if you want a cool feature, Roboform saves logins to almost any app as well as VPN, popup logins, browser logins etc. Monthly fee, but a cool tech stack.

  • I think this is now expired.
