  Was a good series until it went crazy (and money hungry trying to milk it for too many seasons).
  By the 6th and final season, it was an old mule looking to be put out of its misery and being shown at midnight and beyond.

  A shame, because when it first started it was addictive.

    I actually loved all the seasons including the ending. I think people got too caught up in trying to figure out the secrets of the island and forgot that Lost is fundamentally a character driven drama.

    Im sure it would look great being bluray but as I know how pointless the final episode is watching 6 seasons of would be very painful.

  I agree that the show went downhill.
  It is obvious that the writers got lost in their own writing and had no intelligent ideas
  to make the mysteries make much sense.

  I think the problem with the series is that it was character driven but tried too hard to be plot driven with a plot that was just cliffhanger after cliffhanger (the weakest and easiest form of writing).

  That said, I had it in my cart to check the price, but decided against it. Then I noticed the deal was expired, and wondered if it would still be the same price for me since it was already in my cart. It was. So I bought it.

  I'm conflicted. Clearly good value. But a flawed series. We'll see how I feel about it after I shotgun the entire series in a week off of work :P
