          @andresampras: I scored three lifx colour bulbs for $30, they are way nicer than my hues. Im going full on HA so I am happy to mix and match and buy stuff on sale accordingly…

            @Franc-T: I agree, the LED brightness is definitely better on the LIFX. But I got sick of all the usability issues.

            with mix n match, be prepared for headaches when it comes to troubleshooting. Hopefully you don't have any issues though, good luck!

    I have two that I will be installing next week, happy to update you then.

    But to sum up LIFX .

    The goods- the lights and products are amazing, great colour range.

    The bad

    The app can be pretty shit
    They use wifi so you need to have a good wifi router, even then you can get drop outs.
    They pretty much have no customer service and poor warranty when dealing with Lifx.

    I would buy from JBhifi.

      Also unless you have Lifx smart lights, there no point getting these as the soft off is the main advantage. (Buy cheaper ones)

      Also you need a neutral wire.

      Hi mate, i am contemplating to buy the switch. Could you tell me if all the downlights can be connected to the switch's wifi and not the main router so it will free up the number of devices connected to the router. Thanks.

    Search jinvoo on Amazon. I have 6 of their switches in my home(1-2-3 gang) they work like a charm. Material is good. I don't see any point of spending 5 times.

        It works with tuya app. Voice control works with Google home and Alexa. Never tried apple's version.
