  I have been looking for decent pricing on lids. Earlier used to wash lids in dishwasher which ruined them.

    Yep, can confirm that washing the lids in dishwasher ruins them. They lose their suppleness and become brittle around the edges. Eventually the edges crumble or crack and the lids become next to useless.

    Tl;dr - do NOT put the lids in the dishwasher!

  Anyone looking to by Pyrex should know the quality difference between American vs. French version. Nothing against this deal but I would prefer this French version.

    Thanks for pointing that out.

    I had the understanding that Pyrex was just a brand name who made Borosilicate glass products.

    The fact that they are now not making cheaper glass is worrying.
